Appearance: 5'10", Blond, and blue eyed. Liam looks a lot like canon Legolas, with some minor differences. He keeps his hair either loose or tied back, but not in Legolas's typical style. Upon arrival he will be wearing moderns clothes. He does have pointed ears. image


History: Liam was born to Lisa (nee O'Reynne) and Arnold Benedict on April 10, 1993. He was raised in one of the ritzier parts of New York City, where his father is both a well known artist and has an art gallery. He grew up with one sister, Keira, his twin, who were both taught (primarily by their mother) to respect the environment and try to keep their ecological footprint as minimal as realistically possible. His family includes an Maternal Uncle: Teagan, and a Maternal Aunt: Gwyneth. Arnold was the main caretaker of the children while his mother was usually away on business.

Liam attended private school and did well, skipping a grade in elementary school. He attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, and got a BA in Environmental Studies. Immediately out of college he got a job at his Uncle Teagan's company Rain Industries in data entry.
His years in college were influential, and in part due to peer pressure, he chose to become a Vegan. His diet at times has been rather restricted and repetitive.

Due to the strange events occurring in Locke City, Liam wanted to return to the area where he spent many summers growing up to take part in restoration efforts after a giant snake thing messed up the downtown area. There he experienced being "numbered*" and slowly regained some of Legolas' memories, items, personality traits, and powers through "Echos*" Aliens, various supernatural events, and battles with giant crabs and "modified" mafia were a thing. Liam has actually killed a mafia member in self defense.

(*Being "numbered" means Liam was given a vision of a number he could not forget at the start of game. This served as a number to connect to a network to speak to other characters. "Echos" are memories, abilities, or items from Liam's life as Legolas that have reappeared over time. More details here if you're curious.)

Personality:
Liam is very much about living ecologically. He loves being out in nature, hiking, camping, biking, and related activities. In college he decided to live an organic and vegan lifestyle, in part due to it being popular among his peers. He has good, environmentally friendly intentions for doing so, but when it comes to eating vegan he's not the best at it. Former CR in Save the Earth have urged him to eat more healthily, and he's begun a half-hearted attempt at canon-point. Coming from a family with money, he never had to cook for himself so it has been more difficult.

While Liam is intelligent and did well in school, he has always lacked some common sense. Socially he can be a touch annoying, which is in part due to some immaturity for his age. However he is a loyal and caring friend. He's also fairly generous with his money, and has bought friends expensive gifts without much thought.

From Echos, Liam has gained sealonging, which makes him a bit sad and restless, as well as an aversion to dark places deep underground. Being involved some "numbered" events such as battles and killing in self-defense also affected him by dampening his care-free and innocent nature.


Abilities:

- Survival skills: he has a somewhat good idea of how to survive for a while in the woods. Edible plants, fire starting, makeshift shelters, etc.
- Basic use of a hunting rifle, though he's out of practice.
- Speaks passable French, with heavy American accent.
